My New Plant

Bought a small plant and put beside my PC in the office.

Something green that makes me feel calmer... Hopefully it brings me some luck, hahaa ^_^

纪念册

Jing went back to her hometown... We met in the H.E.A.R.T market over the weekend. Instead of doing business, we were chit-chatting, eating titbits, gossiping... and of coz doing some "camera toturous".

She passed us a 纪念册 her colleagues did for her~ 纪念册, sound familiar to you - those in 80's?? Wow~ for decades I didn't hear anyone mentioning about 纪念册. And I was wondering is there still someone buying a scrapbook for this purpose? Pasting photos and joting down some words and sentences like "远看花红红，近看花生虫, bla bla bla..." "靠山山会倒，靠水水会流...bla bla bla...". LoL Now, high tech liao ler~ I just can't imagine.

Ok, I'm not trying to criticize the concept of 纪念册 to be old fashion or apa-apa... I'm missing that kinda 感觉 which doesn't exist for too long~ And now, it comes back for that few seconds.

Soup Of The Day - Cucumber Soup

I love soup, especially traditional chinese cooking style, homecook soup.

* Bitter gourd & pork ribs soup
* Herbal soup (something like 八珍汤 / 帝皇鸡汤 / etc)
* Salted vege duck soup (my mother's recipe is the best!)
* Shark's fin melon soup
* White pepper pig stomach soup
* ....
* ......
* ........
Too many to mention~ hiakz!

Craving for cucumber soup which my mother used to cook when I was young. Called her last night to get some ideas and I decided to cook this for lunch today!

These are the ingredients to prepare:
* Cucumber
* Minced pork
* Mushroom
* Egg
* Ginger

Hmm~~ yummy!

Not everyone likes this coz some people may find the cucumber smell is too strong and they can't take it.

Regular intake of cucumber benefits our body internally & externally. Best is eaten raw. There are a lot of proven & reported health benefits... So, why not buy some cucumber back home today?

Feel like eating sushi for dinner but I don't wanna spend too much, so bought these from Cold Storage. So, if you wanna have affordable sushi meals... check out Cold Storage yea~ *wink*

Used to go Sakae Sushi but getting sienz of their food coz not much changes yet not improving on the taste. The chef should upgrade culinary skills. Then I switch over to patronize Sushi Tei, so far so good and I'm loving it~

Happy New Year~ I wish everyone a prosperous 2010 & all the best throughout the year! How was your new year eve? Happening... or the opposite?

I'm sick~ still sick~ sore throat & flu! Lotsa people around me are also sick. Let's organise a sick party! Ahaa~

Most of the companies are having halfday, but... but... I worked till 7pm on new year eve. WTF~ Ok, I would say leaving early or not doesnt really affect me coz I'm not going anywhere. I went dinner with Mr.Sim & WeiWei at Jack's Place, Century Square and went home afterwards. Sienz~

No celebration, no countdown, no party, no alcohol, no crowd... Stayed at home with Mr.Sim accompanied by TV & my 老老的laptop. Hahaa~

Today I bought 3 items from Cotton On. I was shocked when the salesgirl passed me the receipt.

It's damn long!!! As if I bought alot... Should stop it! Waste - harm to the enviroment!
